Pop Art Portraits
Bring a contemporary feel to a retro comic book style! Young artists will use in along with colored pencils and acrylic paint to give life to a new Manga-inspired character!
Underwater Watercolors
Using a wax crayon to outline the design, young artists will paint an underwater scene using a wet-in-wet blending technique in watercolor. Then we'll use a little salt and splatter to give our creation some texture. Creative fun!
Two-View Tree
Design an accordion-fold picture known as an agamograph. Attendees will draw and color a tree in two different seasons, cut and paste it into the folds, and watch the picture magically change as you walk from side to side!

Ink & Watercolor Pollinators
Bees, bats, butterflies or hummingbirds! Pick a pollinator and create art that is half grey-tones, and half in full color!
Scratchboard Animals
Circles, squiggles, lines and crosshatching. Design an animal in its environment by scratching a variety of textures into an inked surface.
Ocean Life Pastels
Young artists will be invited to render their favorite sea creature in oil pastels. Add a simple or complex background and discover your deep-sea creature in all its glory!

Arctic Animals
Choose an arctic animal from supplied photos and create a collaged design using a variety of papers, both colored and patterned. Continue the look by creating a simple patterned background in colored pencil that suggests an icy environment.
